PureCycle: First European chemical recycling plant announced

Baspar / Iranpolymer The recycling specialist PureCycle Technologies (USA) wants to build its first European plant for the recycling of polypropylene in the “NextGen District” of the port of Antwerp in the coming year 2024.

The listed US company stated that the planned output capacity will be 59,000 tons per year. A later expansion to 240,000 tons per year is basically possible, as the 14-hectare property is suitable for four processing lines. By the middle of this year, the American company wants to set a final schedule for the project.
