Simultaneous with IRANPLAST 2014, Jam Petrochemical Company intends to produce high density polyethylene cable grade

The trading manager of Jam petrochemical Company, Mohsen Farahi, announced the company’s intention to produce cable grade high density polyethylene. “The company has finished the preliminary planning and is now in the process of evaluating the market needs and conditions, which can be eased by IRANPLAST Exhibition.
Farahi believes that besides introducing new products or services, trading fairs such as IRANPLAST can provide a good opportunity for evaluating the market and customers’ opinion. Generally, big companies have special targets in such events, and it is necessary to provide them with detailed information about the exhibitors and the internal and foreign guests.
“The company’s rubber-ABS project will be introduced in detail during the exhibition,” said Farahi hoping that the foreign contributors will appear more active in IRANPLAST 2014 than in the previous exhibitions.
“In regard to internationalization, Jam Petrochemical Company will attend the domestic and foreign exhibitions more actively and within this framework we will attend Chinaplas, Iranplast and Eurasia exhibitions this year. In addition, being one of the biggest producers of butadiene, Jam Petrochemical Company sponsors the 3rd ICIS European Butadiene & Derivatives Conference, which is going to be held in September in Berlin. The company also attends EPCA meeting in Austria as a member of the European petrochemical Association,” he added.
Jam Petrochemical Company produced more than 1.9 million metric tons of products last year and despite the sanctions in the petrochemical industry, its exports were increased in volume by 34% and in value by 41% compared with the corresponding figure of 2012.
In year 2013 Jam Petrochemical Company exported more than 293000 metric tons of polymer products to china, which has formed 37% of the total Iran’s polymer exports to China and 8% of China’s polymer market.
“The approach of low tonnage sales as our new strategy will be debated with our customers during this year’s IRANPLAST exhibition,” said Farahi.
