Along with the 9th International IRANPLAST Exhibition, on Saturday 27 September 2014, the POLY HUMAN Seminar will be held by professor Talaie in the Tehran International Fairground.
In this seminar Professor Talaie presents novel information about scientific, technical and medical aspects of producing artificial organs such as eyes, hearts, teeth, noses, skin, hands and legs based on polymeric materials.
Professor Talaie believes that in today’s industrial world polymers role is not restricted to plastic parts, but they can play an effective role in producing artificial organs for people who are damaged by war or natural disasters.
Professor Talaie is currently the chairman of a polymer research institute in Osaka, Japan, which provides consulting services to the Japan top universities and industrial centers. He graduated in petrochemical engineering from Amirkabir University and subsequently did his Masters and PhD at Wollongong University in Australia.
